”In our case, we repainted the whole interior of the home at the recommendation of the appraiser.  Yes, it was a lot of extra work and some expense; however, it was the right thing in our case.

“We prepared a 3-page summary listing the amenities and upgrades of the property to include past tax information; electrical expense and any other ongoing expenses.  Yes, your sales agent could prepare this; however, they don't have the intimate knowledge to do this efficiently.  As the seller, take the time to do this.  

“Oh, by the way, when we were the buyers, we prepared our expectation summary to assist our agent to find the right property for us and it was very successful!

”We felt it extremely important to have an agent working with us that matched our personalities and our expectations.  That is what we found in Jeanie Sipes of Palmer Realty.

  • Follow-through on everything:  When we met to list the property, Jeanie had taken the property summary we had provided, and on our first visit, the paperwork was ready for us to sign!

  • Attention to detail & accuracy:  There were no mistakes in any of the paperwork and/or our correspondence – we do realize how rare that is!

  • Frequent communication:  Jeanie kept me in the loop to know when the house would be listed, when showings were planned, and most importantly, she provided feedback after each showing.
